(PC16) Wolf Head - Hades

Australian producer Wolf Head has been making waves all over the shop with his schizo-industrial prog-breakcore. His debut EP on ENDE recently broke the record for most PAYL downloads in it's first hour!!

"Hades" is his first paid up release for Protocore Records and fuck me is it worth the milk money it cost!

An excitable, talkative, friendly and creative young man is this new industrial hardcore/breakcore prodigy that's been mindblowing us at ENDE who currently resides in the Mid-North Coast of New South Wales. Wolf Head is a genre masher more than a style masher which is still the current trend in mashing breakcore.

Smashing together various electronic influences with various acoustic/non-electronic influences, psychedelia and paganistic naturism.
Creating some really well crafted and lushly produced, heavy as fuck breakcore beatings and idm infused hardcore dreamscapes.

Although his love of industrial hardcore is most prevalent on "Hades" his shortcut, lightning fast edits and re-edits he's become known for still feature heavily on the EP.

The title track "Hades" for example bolts outta the gate as a new industrial hardcore anthem for the 20s. But quickly smashes tempo and formula out of the 4/4 mode while keeping the fist punching and head nod front and centre.

Reese basslines soar over the kicks but only long enough to tease the next pattern which is only seconds away anyway.

Once again Wolf Head wipes the floor with Australian archaic breakcore dinosaurs in the Australian scene (including the one typing this). Creating a new type of progressive breakcore with real imagination that moves and shifts too fast for the praise it richly deserves and definitely too fast to hear any attempt at local sneering and criticism.

This is the guy to watch in 2022. Expect to see and hear more of him.
