(PC22) The Transgressor Expanded: Volume 3

Noistruct is proud to present the third and final volume in an absolutely massive series of paid digital albums that collect remixes, reworks, remakes and reimaginings of the original tracks from the successful 2016 ENDE Records album "The Transgressor".

Protocore Records released a different volume periodically of these works from a variety of producers and artists from around the world between 2021 and 2022.

From regular contributors to ENDE Records. To friends, inspirations, colleagues and contributors to the Australian and worldwide breakcore and hardcore scenes. To cold submissions from producers on the internet. To pioneering and influential musicians, producers and artists from over the last 30 years.

To bands of different styles and genres doing their own unique take on these tracks. To friends, former colleagues and inspiring musicians from his home city of Perth and that he's met in his travels around Australia while contributing to it's underground electronic scenes for the past 24 and a half years!!.

Also included is a series of very different remixes and remakes of a much darker, more industrial and downtempo offering in the "In Dub" series with Volumes 1 to 3 now available at Protocore Records.

Also already available is a compilation of VIP remixes by Noistruct and a collection of b-sides, out-takes, demos and rough recordings that either became assimilated into "The Transgressor" or were left out at the time due to space and...not wanting to overload the already over two hour album. These also include some previously unfinished tracks that have been completed for the first time ever!!

Many of these remixes featured within and to come will also be featured on a series of 12" single releases on Protocore/ENDE Records to be released between 2023 and 2024!!

So strap in and prepare thyself. This is literally the biggest project undertaken by Noistruct and ENDE Records/Protocore Records EVER!

BOMB20:
Should need no introduction. Bomb20 is a digital hardcore/breakcore project by German producer David Skiba. One of the most influential breakcore producers in the world. He originally began with cassette releases on MIDIWar before being snapped up by Digital Hardcore Recordings where he released a few EPs before the groundbreaking debut album "Field Manual" in 1998.
Bomb20 eventually left DHR and formed Audiochocolate Records with Patric Catani, Parasite and N1tro in the early 2000s. In 2002 he released 2 EPs on UK label Make Some Noise before releasing his second album the companion to "Field Manual", "Reality Surpasses Fiction".
In the mid 2000s he appeared on a compilation on D-Trash and popped up on Soundcloud from time to time but has been mostly quiet until 2022 where he recently released a new EP "Gods" for Realicide Youth label in the US.
It is a huge honour to have a Noistruct remix by one of the biggest influences Bomb20.

The guy is a machine.

He could just be The Ramones of breakcore. Prolific, enthusiastic and addicted to the loudest and most obnoxious and abrasive sound possible. Disrrr has had releases all over the shop including Comarecordz, ENDE Records and Protocore Records as well as his own label Illness Sufferer.

Influences wide and varied from 1980s and 90s new romantic goth, to coldwave industrial to death metal to noise fuelled abstract darkstep to 21st century meme sampled internet culture. Good enough to follow the beaten path of the greats of the genre like Abelcain, Rotator and Devnull while still bringing his own signature to the sound.

NOTEX:
Notex is the minimal techno side project for Boris Otterdam. Originally started in 2014 while living in Brisbane Australia.
Minimal dark techno, deeply submerged or drowned pulsing 4/4 kicks surrounded by ethereal choir cuts, distant soundscapes and mantra like repetition. Scratched, rearranged and morphed into strangely unsettling dancefloor alchemy and solitary electronic contemplations. Influenced by the likes of Solaris BC, Porter Ricks and DJ Manson.

TACTILE AF:
Tactile AF is Matt Bairstow. A Perth based punk/noise musician known for his work with the brilliant Injured Ninja as well as Bamodi and SMRTS. One of Injured Ninja's early shows was supporting Noistruct in the late 2000s where they skated around on skateboards with tiny amps and microphones harassing the crowd (there's video on youtube). Their shows are known for their outrageousness and ostentatiousness.

THANKS TO: Noistruct and ENDE Records/Protocore Records would like to thank every artist/band/producer and DJ who took time and energy to donate their artistry and skill to contribute to this compilation series in these difficult times.

We would also like to thank those that we asked who were unable to accept the offer of remixing or dropped out of the project because they had other commitments to family, work, music projects or they had health or personal issues that meant they couldn't take part.

We understand these are very trying times and very difficult for people on a number of levels. We had artists drop out because they became homeless, became extremely ill, had employment become quickly and suddenly unstable and in some cases....just lost the desire to make music.

We would like to acknowledge and thank everyone who was asked regardless of whether they took part or not. We understand completely these are difficult times and understand everyone who declined or dropped out of a project of this size and we wish them all the best in their future endeavours.
